The Association hosts regular seminars on items of topical interest and other events around
the country. Most are organised by Regional Committees established in Northland,
Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Taranaki, Nelson/Marlborough,
Canterbury and Southland/Otago.

Information about events, conferences etc of interest to members, both in New Zealand
and overseas, is also provided.

Continuing Professional Development

Events held by the RMLA will normally qualify for Continuing Professional Development
(CPD). However, CPD is not restricted to courses offered by the RMLA. Provided the topic
is relevant to a member's professional duties and responsibilities it will fall within the
scope of CPD requirements. The responsibility lies with each Member to choose suitable
professional development activities and to judge whether these activities contribute to
the individual's personal and/or professional development. A Member should maintain their
own written record of all CPD hours.
