Established in October 1992, the RMLA was formed to provide a forum for all professionals and others with an interest in resource management and the environment. The object of the Association shall be to promote within New Zealand:
n understanding of resource management law and its implementation in a multi-disciplinary framework;
xcellence in resource management policy and practice;
esource management processes which are legally sound effective and efficient and which produce high quality environmental outcomes.
