Read the latest analysis of Resource Management issues in New Zealand

The Resource Management Law Association publish Resource Management Theory and Practice (RMTP), a premier journal for Resource Management practitioners. Publications in RMTP reflect world-leading writing on resource management law. This highly regarded journal aims to provide a vehicle for in-depth analysis of resource management issues relevant in New Zealand and Australia.

Published annually, our most recent addition edition included, among others, articles on whether the Resource Management Act is protecting New Zealand’s heritage, the importance of Tikanga Maori and cultural evidence in the Environment Court as well as biodiversity maintenance and protection under the Resource Management Act 1991.

The RMLA would like to take this opportunity to thank Professor Jacinta Ruru, who has led the editorial team for the Resource Management Journal since our November 2013 edition, for her dedication and vision in publishing our new look journal.

Jacinta has played an integral role in ensuring the ongoing success of this journal which has now been running for 14 years. We are delighted that Jacinta remains the editor-in-chief of Resource Management Theory & Practice.
