RMLA Canterbury : 2020 Conference-lite: Council Roundup and NPS-UD perspectives and discussion
Council Activities Roundup:
Covid 19 and the lockdown affected what Councils could do and how they did it, but what’s happening now? Are we back in business as usual or has the way they operate changed in any lasting ways?
This session is an opportunity for representatives from local Councils to provide some insight as to what they have on their plates at the moment, the likely timing of plan changes or reviews, the existence or otherwise of any backlogs in resource consent processing, and what plans they might have for the immediate future in the current working environment, including any contingencies they have for operating under any future restrictions that could come into play?
NPS-UD Perspectives and Discussion:
Some commentary and thoughts on the issues that are being dealt with, or are foreseen, related to giving effect to the NPS-UD.
These sessions will proceed on a Chatham House rules basis and we seek members engagement on these topics, therefore we will not be live streaming or recording this event. If you have any questions in mind, it would assist if you could provide them in advance.
The sessions will also be followed by drinks and nibbles. We will be taking appropriate Covid-19 precautions.
When: 24 September 2020
Time: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
