RMLA Wellington : A heritage and urban design walking tour of Wellington

THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED!

Come along and meet at 12 noon on 17 July in the foyer of 113 The Terrace.

Wellington City Council’s expert historians and urban designers will take us on a short walk of the gems of the CBD. We’ll make our way down the Terrace, point out design and heritage features that form part of the fabric of The Terrace, continuing towards Parliamentary Precinct with its rich heritage. From there we will move to Historic Pipitea – which is built on the original foreshore.

Along the way we will explore and/or discuss the challenges and highlights of Wellington’s laneways projects – including Cable Car Lane and Masons Lane, Egmont Street and Lombard Lane.

We’ll finish at 1:30 pm on Lambton Quay.

It’s free – bring your own lunch if you wish to snack along the way! Also, if you need to duck out earlier we won’t judge!
