The Young RMLA Auckland branch is lucky to have Dominic Wilson from the Tūpuna Maunga o Tāmaki Makaurau Authority (Maunga Authority) come along on 1 September to present on:

• the establishment of the Maunga Authority;
• what the role of the Maunga Authority is; and
• the Maunga Authority’s integrated management plan and the future of Tāmaki Makaurau Maunga.

Dominic is the Head of Co-Governance at Auckland Council, which is a unit within Council that supports certain independent co-governance entities, including the Maunga Authority.  Dominic also has a background as a lawyer for iwi/hapū before the Waitangi Tribunal and in settlement negotiations.
