Resource management reform – an election special

The Wellington branches of the Resource Management Law Association and New Zealand Planning Institute invite you to our upcoming event: Resource management reform – an election special.

Resource management reform has been a hot topic over the last few years, and with the passage of the Natural and Built Environment Bill and the Spatial Planning Bill through Parliament it is a very timely pre-election discussion.

We have speakers from different political parties joining us to share their views on resource management in New Zealand and their plans for reform – ahead of the 2023 election. You will hear from Chris Bishop (National), Hon Eugenie Sage (Greens), Simon Court (Act) and [representative TBC] (Labour) and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of their presentations.

Please join us on Monday 14 August, 5.45pm (please arrive by 5.30pm) –7pm, Buddle Findlay, Level 17, Aon Centre, 1 Willis Street, Wellington Central. Drinks and nibbles will be provided following the presentation.

Please register below – and be in quick, as we anticipate this event will fill up quickly! $10 for RMLA and NZPI members, $15 for non-members.
