The RMLA BoP committee is hosting a lunchtime group screening of Raewyn Peart’s presentation, Leveraging a Step Change in Coastal Management.

Raewyn leads the Environmental Defence Society’s environmental policy work and brings over three decades of experience as a resource management lawyer and adviser to business, government, and the not-for-profit sector.

She will canvass challenges in managing the coastal marine area and opportunities to make progress overcoming them.

In this session she will:

• Review progress, drawing on lessons in the Hauraki Gulf,

• The potential of marine spatial planning,

• What the RM Reform (RM3) might mean for our oceans and coasts
