PCE writes to Minister on public funding of LNG import terminal

The Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment wrote a letter to Hon Simon Watts about the Government’s decision to explore the development of an LNG import facility.

Whilst supporting a number of initiatives in the recent electricity announcement, the Commissioner recommends pursuing a fuel agnostic solution to the dry year problem.
