Introducing Bridget Irving, Chair of the RMLA Otago/Southland Branch
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Bridget Irving as the new Chair of the RMLA Otago/Southland Branch.
Bridget is a Partner at Gallaway Cook Allan in Otago, specialising in resource management and local government. She works with developers, councils and water users across Otago and Southland, helping navigate complex resource management challenges and achieve practical outcomes.
Bridget is motivated by the tangible side of resource management work—helping people get good projects off the ground and seeing them come to life. She enjoys working alongside good people on complex problems and finding clear, workable paths through what can often feel like a messy system.
In taking on the role of Branch Chair, Bridget is keen to connect people working in the resource management field and help foster conversations that are practical, constructive and grounded in real-world outcomes. Her leadership and experience will be a valuable asset to our regional community.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Pip Walker for her service as Branch Chair. On behalf of RMLA, thank you for the time, energy and expertise you have contributed to the Branch and its members.
If Members have ideas for future branch activities, topics you would like explored, or ideas for members to connect, please get in touch with Bridget.
